Event Cancellation Policies

What taron's event cancellation policies mean for attendees — refunds, timelines, and what to do when a host cancels.

taron help Share

Event cancellations on taron are handled based on whether the host or the attendee initiates the cancellation.

When a host cancels the event

If a host cancels their event, taron notifies all registered attendees immediately. Refunds are processed automatically to the original payment method. Timelines are typically 3–10 business days depending on your payment provider.

When you want to cancel your registration

Go to your ticket, tap Cancel Registration, and the action depends on the host's refund policy. If refunds are open, you will receive your money back within the stated window. If the refund window has closed, the ticket may become non-refundable.

Non-refundable tickets

Some events are sold as strictly non-refundable — this is set by the host and clearly shown before purchase. If you have a non-refundable ticket and cannot attend, contact the host directly; they can sometimes make exceptions for emergencies.

Disputes

If you believe a cancellation was handled incorrectly, contact taron support with your order reference and a description of the issue. taron reviews disputes and can intervene where policy has not been followed.
