Using Messages on taron

Learn how taron messaging works — finding conversations, sending messages, managing chat requests, and connecting after events.

taron help Share

taron has a built-in messaging system so you can have direct conversations with hosts, attendees, and community members.

Starting a conversation

Visit any user's profile and tap Message. If they do not follow you, your message goes to their Message Requests folder. Once they accept, the conversation opens fully for both sides.

Managing your messages

Tap the message icon in the app navigation to open your inbox. You will see active conversations and a separate Requests tab for messages from people you do not follow. Accept requests you want to respond to, or decline to remove them.

Messaging hosts

After attending an event, you can message the host directly from their profile. This is useful for feedback, asking about future events, or following up on something from the event.

Message safety

If you receive unwanted messages, you can block the sender or report the conversation. Go to the conversation, tap the three-dot menu, and select Block or Report.
