You can edit most details of a published taron event at any time. Changes that significantly affect attendees — like a date or venue shift — trigger notifications to everyone registered.
What you can edit after publishing
- Event title and description
- Cover image and other media
- Date and time
- Venue or online access details
- Event tags
- Ticket quantities (you can increase, but reducing below the number already sold is not permitted)
- Ticket prices (only for tickets not yet purchased)
- Support and Gifting settings — turn it on or off, change the button style or purpose
Editing your event
Go to your Profile, open the Events tab, then Manage Events. Find your event and tap Manage, or use the ⋯ menu and choose Edit Event. Make your changes and save — taron prompts you to notify attendees if the change is significant.
If the date or venue changes
Attendees are notified immediately when you update a date or location. Add a clear note in the description explaining the change and any context that helps them adjust.
What you cannot change
Once tickets have been sold, you cannot change the event type (in-person to online, for example) or reduce ticket quantities below the sold count. If the change is fundamental, consider cancelling and reposting instead.
