What Other Members See on Your Profile
Your taron profile is your public identity on the platform. By default, other logged-in taron members can see your profile photo, display name, username, and bio. For hosts, your published events and any Communities you manage are also visible on your profile — this is intentional, as attendees and potential followers review this information before deciding to follow or register.
For standard members who are not hosting events, your profile primarily shows your identity information. Your Community memberships, attended events, and social activity may be visible depending on your privacy settings.
What Is Never Public
Direct messages are private to the participants in each conversation regardless of any other privacy setting. Payment information, payout details, wallet balances, and financial data are never visible to other members.
Adjusting Your Visibility
Go to your taron account settings and navigate to the privacy section. From here you can control which elements of your profile are visible to other members. Options typically include profile visibility (who can see your full profile), messaging controls (who can send you direct messages), and activity visibility (whether your community memberships and followed hosts are shown publicly).
If you are a host, be careful about restricting profile visibility. Potential attendees check host profiles before registering for events — a locked or sparse-looking profile reduces registration confidence. The guide on Managing Your Creator Profile covers how to balance professionalism with appropriate privacy.
For Members Who Want More Privacy
If you want to use taron primarily to discover and attend events without a visible public presence, you can minimise your profile information and restrict who can see your activity. You can still register for events, join Communities, and use all taron features with a more private profile — your QR ticket, for instance, is generated from your registration regardless of profile visibility settings.
