Where to Find Settings
Your account settings are accessible from the profile or account menu in the taron app. From there, you will find sections covering your profile, security, notifications, privacy, wallet, referrals, and account management options including logout.
Profile Settings
Profile settings let you update your display name, username, bio, and profile photo — the information other members see when they visit your profile or encounter your activity across the platform. Keep this current, especially if you are a host. Attendees check host profiles before registering for events.
Security Settings
Screenshot-confirmed security controls in taron include:
- Password change — update your account password at any time
- Two-factor authentication — add a second layer of verification to your login
- Biometric authentication — use fingerprint or face recognition where supported by your device
- Login alerts — get notified when your account is accessed from a new device
- Suspicious activity alerts — receive alerts about unusual account behaviour
- Device verification — review and manage devices connected to your account
- Active sessions — see where your account is currently logged in
- API access logging — review third-party access activity where applicable
Review your security settings periodically. If you ever suspect your account has been accessed without your knowledge, change your password immediately and review active sessions.
Notification Preferences
Notification settings control which updates you receive and how. You can manage alerts for events, communities, messages, social interactions, and platform activity. See the Notification articles for a full breakdown of available categories.
Privacy Settings
Privacy controls help you manage who can see your profile, who can message you, and how your activity appears to others. Use the privacy and security section in settings to review and adjust these options.
Wallet and Referrals
If wallet and referral features are available on your account, you can access them through the settings or account area. This covers balance information, earnings, and referral or Gold Code activity.
Logout
The logout option is available from your account settings. If you are using a shared device, always log out when you are done.
