Before You Decide
Account deletion on taron is a significant action. Depending on the product configuration, deletion may be permanent — removing your profile, event history, community memberships, and any associated data. Before proceeding, consider whether any of the following applies to your situation.
You are a host with upcoming events — Deleting your account while you have published events with registered attendees creates problems for those attendees. Cancel or complete your events before closing your account.
You have a Wallet balance or pending payouts — Resolve any outstanding financial activity before deleting your account. A pending payout to a closed account is difficult to recover.
You are a community leader — Your community and its members will be affected by your departure. Transfer community leadership to a trusted member before leaving.
You just need a break — If you want to step back from taron temporarily rather than permanently, deactivation (where available) is a better option than deletion. Deactivation pauses your account without permanently removing your data.
How to Delete or Deactivate
Account deletion and deactivation options, where available, are in your account settings. Look for the account management, privacy, or support section. If you cannot find the option, contact taron support directly — they can assist with account closure requests.
What Happens After Deletion
Once deleted, your profile, events, communities, and account data are typically removed from the platform. The process for data deletion and the timeline for removal are covered in taron's Privacy Policy.
You will not be able to recover a deleted account. If you think you might want to return to taron in the future, deactivation is the more cautious choice where available.
