How Discovery Works
taron is built to surface events that are relevant to you — not just events that are popular. The platform learns from the communities you join, the creators you follow, and the events you attend, and uses that context to show you experiences that actually match your interests.
That said, discovery also rewards exploration. The best events you attend on taron may be ones you stumbled across rather than ones the algorithm predicted you'd like.
Ways to Discover Events
Your feed — Events from creators you follow and communities you're part of appear in your feed. This is your most personalised discovery channel and usually the first place to check for relevant upcoming experiences.
Explore and search — If you're looking for something specific — a topic, a location, an event type — use search to find it directly. You can filter by event type, date, and other parameters to narrow down options.
Through Communities — Communities on taron regularly surface events that are relevant to their members. If you're active in communities that align with your interests, events will find you through that context.
Following creators — Creators post their upcoming events on their profiles and through their communities. Following the hosts whose events you've enjoyed is one of the most reliable ways to discover new experiences you'll actually want to attend.
Saving Events for Later
When you find an event you're interested in but not ready to register for yet, save it. Saved events let you come back to something without losing it in your feed, and some events offer the option to be notified when registration opens or when the event is close to selling out.
