How Registration Works
Registering for an event on taron is how you secure your place and get access to the details you need to attend. The process is straightforward, but the specifics vary depending on whether the event is free or paid, open or capacity-limited.
Finding the Registration Option
From any event page, look for the registration or sign-up button. This is usually prominently placed on the page. If registration is not yet open, the event page will typically indicate when it opens so you can come back or save the event to be reminded.
Free Events
For free events, registration typically takes a few seconds — confirm your details, submit, and you're registered. You'll receive a confirmation through taron, and the event will appear in your registrations. Some free events are capacity-limited, so registering early matters even when there's no cost involved.
Paid Events
For paid events, you'll go through a ticket selection and payment step. Review the ticket types available — some events offer different tiers with different access levels or pricing. Complete payment through taron's secure checkout, and your ticket will be issued and accessible from your account.
Keep your ticket accessible before event day. For events using taronPass, your QR ticket is your entry pass and will be scanned at check-in.
After Registering
Once registered, check the event page periodically for any host updates. Hosts sometimes share schedule changes, preparation notes, or venue updates in the days before the event. Your notifications will also surface important updates if you have them enabled.
