Why Your Ticket Choice Matters
Some events offer a single registration option. Others offer several tiers with different prices and access levels. Choosing the wrong ticket can mean arriving at check-in with the wrong access level — particularly relevant for events with VIP areas, backstage access, or online-only versus in-person attendance.
Take a moment to read the ticket options before confirming, especially for paid events.
Ticket Types You May Encounter
General Admission — Standard access to the main event experience.
VIP or Premium — Additional benefits beyond standard access, which may include priority entry, reserved seating, access to VIP Lounge or other restricted areas, or pre-event receptions. The specific benefits are described by the host.
Early Bird — A discounted price available for a limited period or quantity before standard pricing applies. Once early bird tickets are sold out or the deadline passes, this tier is no longer available.
Free Registration — Some events are free but still use taron's ticketing system to manage capacity and enable taronPass check-in. You still receive a QR ticket even at zero cost.
Special Access — Host-defined tiers reserved for specific audiences — speakers, partners, community members, or invite-only guests.
What to Check Before Selecting
Ticket name and description — Read carefully. "VIP-A12" as a seat number means something different from "VIP Access" as a tier name.
Price — Review the full cost before confirming. For paid events, also note whether a service or processing fee is added at checkout.
Access type — For hybrid events, confirm whether the ticket is for in-person attendance or online participation. These are distinct and the wrong choice means arriving at a venue expecting in-person access when you have an online ticket, or vice versa.
Availability — Popular tiers sell out. If capacity is shown, do not assume a ticket will still be available if you come back later.
Refund policy — Visible on the event page before purchase. Review it before paying, particularly for higher-priced tiers.
