What a Ticket Contains
When you register for an event on taron, your ticket is generated and accessible from your account under registrations or tickets. Each ticket contains:
- Event name and cover image
- Event date and time
- Venue or event type (In-Person, Online, etc.)
- Ticket Holder Information — your name, ticket number (formatted as LT-XXXX-TYPE-XXXX), seat number if assigned, ticket type, price paid, purchase date, and buyer's name
- Admission QR Code — the unique scannable code used for entry at taronPass check-in events
- Access Link URL — for online events, a direct link to join the session appears on your ticket in addition to the QR code
Some tickets may also display notes such as "Non-refundable event start time. Valid ID required." Read these carefully before attending.
Ticket Actions
From your ticket view, you have three actions available:
Share — Send your ticket to another person. Note that transferring tickets may not be permitted for all events — check the event's policy before sharing.
Download — Save your ticket to your device. Useful for events in venues with limited connectivity.
Gift — Send the ticket as a gift to someone else where gifting is supported.
Using Your Ticket at Check-In
For in-person and hybrid events using taronPass, open your ticket before you reach the check-in point. Increase your screen brightness so the QR code reads clearly. Present it to staff. The scan takes under a second when the code is visible and steady.
For online events, use the Access Link URL on your ticket to join the session. Locate this before the event starts.
If Something Goes Wrong
If your QR code will not scan, do not step out of the queue — ask staff for help. Most issues resolve quickly through a manual lookup using your name or email. If you cannot find your ticket, open your account registrations section or check your email confirmation.
