What a QR Ticket Is
A QR ticket is your digital entry pass for taron events that use taronPass check-in. It is unique to your registration and contains a scannable code that event staff use to verify your attendance and confirm your access tier. No printing required.
What Your QR Ticket Contains
Your ticket displays:
- Event name and cover image
- Event date, time, and type
- Your name as the ticket holder
- Your ticket number (formatted as LT-XXXX-TYPE-XXXX)
- Your seat number if one is assigned (e.g. VIP-A12)
- Ticket type and tier
- Price paid and purchase date
- Buyer's name
- Admission QR Code — the scannable code presented at entry
- Access Link URL — for online events, a direct join link appears on your ticket
- Any host-set policy notes (e.g. "Non-refundable event start time. Valid ID required.")
Finding Your Ticket
Your QR ticket is in your taron account under registrations or tickets. Open the relevant event and your ticket details will appear, including the QR code ready to present.
Presenting Your Ticket at Check-In
Open your ticket before you reach the check-in point. Increase your screen brightness to maximum — this is the single most effective thing you can do to speed up your scan. Hold the phone steady and face the QR code directly toward the scanner. A clean scan takes under two seconds.
Take a screenshot of your QR code before leaving for the event and save it to your camera roll. This gives you an offline backup if you lose signal, your app is slow to load, or your battery is low.
If Your Ticket Will Not Scan
Do not step out of the queue. Ask event staff for help immediately. They can look up your registration by name or email and check you in manually if needed. Having your registration confirmation accessible — from your email or taron notifications — provides the details staff need.
