QR Ticket Will Not Scan
This is the most common check-in issue and resolves in under a minute in most cases.
Increase screen brightness — Turn your screen brightness to maximum before presenting the QR code. A dim screen is the leading cause of scan failures.
Reopen the ticket — Close and reopen the ticket in taron. A partial load can cause the code to display incorrectly.
Try a different angle or distance — The code should fill most of the camera frame. Move the phone slightly closer or further from the scanner.
Ask staff for manual lookup — If the code still will not scan, ask the check-in staff to look up your registration by name or email. Do not step out of the queue — staff can resolve this at the entry point.
Cannot Find the Ticket
Open your taron account and navigate to registrations or tickets. If your ticket does not appear:
- Confirm you registered with this taron account — if you have multiple accounts, check the others.
- Check your email for a registration confirmation, which may show the account it was created under.
- If you paid and a confirmation exists but no ticket appears, contact taron support with your transaction details.
Cannot Join an Online Event
If you cannot access an online event:
Check your ticket for the Access Link URL — For online events, the access link appears on your ticket. Open the ticket and use the link shown there, not a link you may have saved from weeks ago.
Check for a host update — The access link may have changed. Open the Event Page and check for any updates from the host in the days before the event.
Check the event time — Some online event platforms only activate the link at the start time or a few minutes before.
Contact the host — If you cannot find a working access link, message the host through taron as early as possible before the event starts.
Event Page Not Loading
Try refreshing the page or closing and reopening the app. If a specific event page consistently fails to load, check whether the event has been cancelled or removed — the host may have taken it down.
Registration Confirmed but Not on the Guest List
If event staff cannot find your name, show your registration confirmation from your taron account or email. If your registration is confirmed, staff can check you in manually. If there is still a discrepancy, contact taron support.
