Troubleshooting Payments and Tickets

This guide helps attendees resolve common payment and ticket problems on taron, including failed payments, missing tickets after purchase, wrong ticket selections, and refund requests.

Payment Did Not Complete

If your payment did not go through, check the following before trying again:

Check your internet connection — A dropped connection mid-payment is the most common cause of a failed transaction. Confirm connectivity and retry.

Check your payment details — Verify card number, expiry, billing address, and any other details your payment method requires. A single wrong digit will cause a decline.

Check your bank or payment provider — Some banks block online or international transactions by default. Contact your bank if you believe the payment should have worked but was declined.

Do not pay twice — Before retrying, check your registrations section and email inbox to confirm that the first attempt did not create a duplicate registration. If your ticket appears but payment looks unclear, contact support before paying again.

Ticket Not Showing After Payment

If you completed payment but your ticket is not appearing in your account:

  • Wait a few minutes and refresh your registrations section. Processing can take a moment.
  • Check your notification inbox and registration email for a confirmation.
  • If nothing appears after 5–10 minutes and your payment was confirmed by your bank, contact taron support with your transaction reference and account email.

Wrong Ticket Selected

If you selected the wrong ticket type during registration:

  • Review the event's refund and exchange policy on the Event Page.
  • Contact the host directly through taron messaging to explain the situation. Many hosts can assist with ticket type corrections.
  • If the host is unresponsive, contact taron support.

Ticket Will Not Scan at Check-In

This is an entry issue, not a payment issue. Refer to the Understanding QR Tickets and Handling Check-In Issues articles. The most common cause is low screen brightness — increase it before presenting the code.

Requesting a Refund

See the Requesting Event Refunds article for the full refund process. For events the host has cancelled, refunds are handled by taron automatically. For voluntary cancellations, review the event's refund policy before proceeding.
