What taronPass Is

taronPass is taron's event check-in and ticket verification system. It gives event hosts and staff a dedicated interface for scanning attendee QR tickets, verifying identities, managing special access areas, and tracking check-in progress in real time.

Staff Access

Event staff log in to taronPass using a unique access code generated for the event — not their personal taron account credentials. The host generates staff access codes from the event management area and shares them with the check-in team before the event. Each staff member receives their own code.

To access taronPass:

  1. Open taronPass on the scanning device.
  2. Enter the full name and access code provided by the host.
  3. Log in to begin scanning.

Staff access codes are valid for 24 hours. They can be regenerated if compromised or expired.

How Check-In Works

When an attendee arrives, they present their QR ticket. The staff member scans it using the taronPass scanner. The verification screen then displays:

  • Attendee name — visible immediately after a successful scan
  • Ticket type and access tier — including any special designations (VIP, Chairman, and similar)
  • Access badge — a visual indicator of the attendee's tier, helping staff route guests correctly
  • Special Access Areas — if the ticket includes VIP Lounge, Backstage, Private Dining, or other restricted areas, these appear explicitly on the verification screen
  • Check-in time — timestamped automatically on scan
  • Important Host Instructions — any notes the host has added for specific attendees (for example: "Event Chairman — requires private escort to VIP lounge upon arrival")

Two action buttons appear at the bottom: Flag Issue (if something requires review) and Check in Guest (to confirm entry). Staff tap Check in Guest to complete the check-in. The system updates the attendance count in real time.

Check-In Progress

The check-in dashboard shows live progress — total tickets issued versus how many have been scanned — as a progress bar and numeric count. Hosts can monitor this from the event management area while check-in is underway.

Quick Actions

The verification screen includes Quick Actions for common scenarios, such as scanning the next ticket, looking up an attendee by name, or flagging an access issue for the event lead.

Common Questions

How do staff log in to taronPass?

Each staff member uses a unique access code generated by the host, plus their full name. They do not use personal taron account credentials.

What if a staff member's access code does not work?

The host can regenerate access codes from the event management area and redistribute them.

Can taronPass handle VIP and special access tiers?

Yes. The verification screen shows each attendee's ticket tier, access badge, and any special areas their ticket includes — such as VIP Lounge, Backstage, or Private Dining.

Does taronPass update attendance in real time?

Yes. Each successful scan increments the check-in count immediately, visible to the host from the event dashboard.

What is the Flag Issue button for?

Use it when an attendee's ticket requires further review before entry is confirmed — duplicate scan alerts, unclear access level, or unusual circumstances.

How many staff can scan simultaneously?

Multiple devices can run taronPass for the same event at the same time, useful for events with multiple entry points.
