When you join taron, you are asked to select categories that reflect what you want to discover. These choices shape your Home Feed from the first moment — influencing which events surface, which Communities taron suggests, and which hosts appear in your recommendations.
The selection is not permanent. Your experience continues to evolve based on what you actually attend, follow, and join. But starting with accurate interests gives you a more useful Home Feed from day one rather than working up from a blank slate.

Select the ones that genuinely match what you would actually attend or join. Choosing too broadly gives you a noisy feed. Choosing accurately gives you a relevant one.
How to Choose
During onboarding, the interest selection screen appears after you set your password. Tap each category that applies. There is no required minimum — choose what fits. When you are done, continue to complete the onboarding sequence.
After Onboarding
If your interests shift over time, review your settings to update your selections where available. Beyond that, the most effective way to improve your recommendations is to actively use taron — follow hosts you enjoy, join communities that match your goals, and attend events that interest you. Each action gives taron better signal than the initial interest selection alone.
