Before You Start
taron uses email for signup and account access. Have your email address ready, and decide in advance whether someone referred you — you will have the option to enter a referral username or taron Gold Code during signup.
The Signup Flow
Step 1: Enter Your Details
On the signup screen, fill in:
- First name
- Last name
- Email address
- Date of birth
- taron Gold Code (optional — enter this if someone gave you a referral code)
- Referral username (optional — enter the username of the person who invited you)
Check the box to confirm you are 13 or older, then agree to taron's Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Community Guidelines before continuing.
Step 2: Verify Your Email
taron sends a 6-digit verification code to the email address you provided. Open your inbox, find the message from taron, and enter the code on the verification screen. If the code does not arrive within a minute or two, check your spam folder or use the resend option.
Step 3: Set Your Password
After verification, you will be prompted to create a password. Choose something secure — difficult to guess, not reused from other accounts, and long enough to be meaningful. You can use a password manager if that helps.
Step 4: Choose Your Interests
Once your password is set, taron asks you to select interests that will personalise your discovery experience. Options include categories such as Music & Concerts, Gaming & Esports, Food & Drink, Business & Networking, Technology, Arts & Culture, Health & Wellness, and Learning & Education. Choose the ones that genuinely reflect what you want to discover and attend — not everything, just the areas that matter to you right now.
Step 5: Complete Onboarding
After interests, taron walks you through a short welcome sequence — Discover Events, Connect & Share, Ready to Buzz — giving you a quick orientation before you land on the Home Feed. You may also be prompted to allow location access to improve nearby event discovery.
After Signing Up
You now have full access to taron. Your Home Feed will reflect the interests you selected, and it becomes more accurate the more you use the platform — following hosts, joining communities, and attending events all improve what you see.
