Your Account Security Is Your Responsibility
taron provides the tools. Using them consistently is what keeps your account protected. Most account compromises happen because of weak passwords, password reuse across services, or failure to notice suspicious activity early enough to act.
The steps below are not complicated. They are worth doing before something goes wrong rather than after.
Use a Strong, Unique Password
Your taron password should be long, complex, and not shared with any other account or service. If your email account or another service you use is compromised, a reused password gives attackers access to taron as well. A password manager makes it easy to maintain unique, strong passwords across every account you hold.
Enable Two-Factor Authentication
Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds a second verification step when your account is accessed from a new device. Even if someone obtains your password, they cannot access your account without the second factor. Enable 2FA from the security section of your account settings.
Enable Login and Security Alerts
taron's login alerts notify you when your account is accessed from a new device or location. Suspicious activity alerts flag unusual behaviour. Enable both from your security settings so you are informed immediately if something unexpected happens.
Review Active Sessions
If you have logged in from multiple devices, your active sessions list shows where your account is currently signed in. Review this list periodically and log out of any sessions you do not recognise or no longer use.
Protect Your Email Account
Because taron uses email for account access and password recovery, your email account is the most important account to keep secure. Use a strong password, enable two-factor authentication on your email, and treat any suspicious emails claiming to be from taron with caution — taron will never ask for your password via email.
What To Do If You Notice Suspicious Activity
Change your password immediately from account settings. Review and terminate unrecognised active sessions. Check for any account changes you did not make, such as profile edits or events created without your knowledge. Contact taron support if the situation suggests your account was accessed without your consent.
