How Refunds Work on taron

Paid event tickets on taron are subject to two layers of policy: taron's platform-level refund rules, and the specific cancellation and refund terms set by the individual host for their event. Host policies operate within the bounds of taron's platform rules — hosts cannot set terms that contradict platform-level protections.

Before purchasing a ticket for a paid event, review the refund policy shown on the Event Page. This is the single most reliable source of the terms that apply to your specific ticket.

When Refunds Typically Apply

Host-cancelled events — If a host cancels a paid event, attendees are typically entitled to a full refund. taron processes refunds for host-cancelled events according to its platform policies.

Within the host's refund window — If a host has set a refund window (for example, full refunds available up to 48 hours before the event), cancelling your registration within that window entitles you to a refund according to the stated terms.

Outside the refund window — If you cancel after the host's refund deadline, refunds are at the host's discretion unless the event is cancelled by the host.

How to Request a Refund

Navigate to the event in your registrations or tickets section and look for the cancellation or refund option. Follow the steps shown. If you do not see a refund option or the standard flow does not resolve the issue, contact the host directly through taron messaging. For platform-level payment issues, contact taron support.

Disputes

If you believe you are entitled to a refund and the host is unresponsive or unwilling to process it, contact taron support with your registration details and a summary of the situation. taron will review the case against its policies.
